About Me
Here in the Ozarks, we have a rich tradition of celebrating music. Growing up, nearly all my friends were musicians, and we spent much of our youth learning and playing music in garages, basements and bedrooms. My early fascination with the guitar and rock music expanded to include country, blues, jazz, and folk, as well as classical guitar while attending MSU.
I began teaching guitar at a music store circa 2005, and since then have worked with hundreds of students over the years. I believe learning and making music should be fun, and I do my best to deliver a fun and engaging learning experience for all of my students.
You can find me performing locally in the Springfield area, where I perform a combination of original music and some of my favorite songs.
When I'm not making music, I enjoy reading, film, fishing, kayaking, and photography.
